Food trucks lined the tony shopping street. Tiffany & Co. passed out yellow balloons to passersby and Vogue's West Coast editor Lisa Love played Fashion Rules trivia game with other contestants.

Holding center court at the Giorgio Armani store was actor Samuel L. Jackson, looking smart in a brown blazer. He was hosting his favorite menswear looks for the red carpet and talking about them with fashion critic Steven Cojocaru. The event was packed with curious lookers on.

At Chanel, waiters passed out champagne while attendees could get their nails done in Chanel's latest nail polish colors.

Other stores were also passing out champagne and letting the evening swing with DJs spinning tunes. At Bebe, World Famous Rani G and Leon Silva entertained the crowd.
