Angelenos who pride themselve as foodie fashionistas probably religiously follow food trucks as closely as the next fashion trend. But even if your epicurean gastronomy isn’t on par with your ability to match LBDs with the perfect shoes, wouldn’t it be nice to be treated to a sweet tooth fix in the midst of the holiday shopping excursions you plan on undertaking this weekend.

On Sat., Dec. 11, private sale site Gilt Groupe and the ice cream sandwich specialists of the Coolhaus Truck are teaming up to offer free treats to shoppers throughout Los Angeles.

The truck will be making a first stop at the Trina Turk boutique at 8008 W. 3rd. St., and the designer herself will be making a special appearance.

After West Third Street, the Coolhaus truck will spend the rest of Saturday afternoon hitting up shopping destinations The Grove, Westwood Village and Santa Monica Place.
