Beyond the Sample Sales

This weekend the Fashion District played host to more than just sample sales. Unique L.A., A Current Affair and Artisanal L.A. all descended on the area with pop-up shops, bringing vintage finds, tasty treats and plenty of cute holiday gifts with them.

At Artisanal L.A., vendors sold everything from heirloom fruit and veggie seeds (making me want to turn my loft into a greenhouse) to pies, decadent cupcakes, bacon, fancy mustard and cute kitchen towels printed with the silhouette of the Watts Towers. Food trucks kept the air smelling delicious and attendees from getting too ravenous.

It all made for a nice break from the usual sample sale madness.

pop-ups
Again with the "Pop-Ups". Really guys lets work at making L.A. a leader in Fashion trends. Little dogs, bling sweat suits, cell phones, hair extensions, ugg boots. It's your job to change fashion yet I saw this girl just last week on Robertson...just LAST week.
