Most love affairs might run hot and cold at times, but California’s relationship with vintage fashion has been steady, it’s a traditionally popular category.
Into this business, the Tablada sisters and their friend Regina Rodriguez launched e-commerce vintage store Living Divine Vintage. The shop is headquartered in the distant Los Angeles suburb of West Covina, but it held a debut party March 10 at the perennially hip neighborhood of Little Tokyo in downtown Los Angeles.
Rodriguez and Adriana and Sofia Tablada said they travel all over to find their site’s wares; well preserved pieces from the ‘70s and ‘80s as well as designer vintage. They intend to retail most of it under $100. “The hardest thing,” Adriana Tablada said about her gig, “is not keeping everything for ourselves.”
