A DJ mixed a schizophrenic set that segued from the Red Hot Chili Peppers to Justin Bieber as Forever 21 welcomed shoppers to its new space at the Beverly Center on, appropriately enough, May 21. 

The mammoth two-floor store occupies the former location of the Beverly Center 13 Cinemas and offers an extensive array of apparel, shoes and accessories for women, men and kids. There are also select areas dedicated to popular Forever 21 collections like Heritage 1981 and 21 Men. The guys get equal attention at this outlet, where the collection of nicely priced jeans and jackets includes some rockin' T-shirts that sell for under $20 and pay home to iconic bands like KISS, Pink Floyd and The Beatles.

It's hard to miss Forever 21's newest location now that the mall's escalaters on the north side of the Beverly Center lead directly into the shop. Brightly lit, comfortable and emanating a youthful energy, Los Angeles' newest retail hot spot was buzzing with a decent size crowd of excited shoppers on opening day. The interior design and decoration is sophisticated, fun and spectacular. Some of the more unique touches include neon accents and a tricked out white baby grand piano that doubles as a display rack.

The ever-changing Beverly Center, located at 8500 Beverly Blvd., is one of L.A.'s most fun and fashion forward shopping venues, and if Forver 21's opening day is any indiction, we anticipate that this fashion retailer will be the cornerstone for more exciting updates at the popular mall.
