L.A. Market Report: More sightings around market.

Caught a flick in the lobby of the Cooper Design Space. Leasing director Mona Sangkala and building owner Steve Hirsh hosted the Bill Cunningham New York” documentary about the legendary New York Times street fashion photographer. (That's Steve and Mona in the photo above.) Guests lounged on comfy couches and enjoyed truffle popcorn and beer. I hope they host fashion movie night every market!

I was too rushed to grab lunch at the Cart for a Cause, the food truck that raises money for St. Vincent Meals on Wheels, parked in front of the California Market Center. But I was thrilled to see it here. More food trucks, please! We need to congregate—fashionably, of course—on the CMC patio. Lunch seems like a good way to start.

Spotted the latest from San Diego–based jewelry line Sophia & Chloe at the Isabella Fiore showroom at The New Mart. The jewelry company sources its gems from around the world, but manufactures the line in California. Check out the collection’s Buddha’s Kiss necklace and this fantastic piece made with blue-green chalcedony quartz.

Found this jacket from new label Ellie Lavelle at the T&A Showroom at the 824 Building. How fierce is that? And “fierce” is not a word I typically use.

Another new line at T&A at the 824 is 800 Nerves. Super-cute name for a label and check out this also super-cute dress.

Lilu Jackets

Our Senior Editor Deborah Belgum covered the F2 Runway Show on the California Market Center’s 13th floor on Monday. Here’s a look at two of the lines on the runway—Lilu Jackets and Anne & Jade by Annie Le.

And these amazing creations are rings by Gasoline Glamour spotted at the Magnet Showroom at the Academy Awards Building.
