Band of Outsiders Makes Film About Being Outside of Fashion

Band of Outsiders' Scott Sternberg and The Little Squares have made "Being There," a rad little film that is part art project, part commentary on fashion and part sneak peek into Sternberg's secret desire to be a Lego man in a tuxedo. I may be reading too much into it on that last bit.

The film is awesome to look at and Sterberg makes a good point. He says "It's funny, this image of a pouty serious model sitting on a car still means luxury." He'd rather make people laugh a little bit. Who doesn't like laughing? Even Lady GaGa laughs every now and then. Am I right?

Also, keep an eye out for The Little Squares. It's a media company that works in a variety of mediums, but their videos seem to be catching on with the fashion crowd. Here's a little video they made for The Gap about their L.A. denim team. Pretty sweet.
