Designer Lulu Guinness Makes Pin-ups Made of People

Guinness, known for her cheeky handbag designs, made a life-size pin-screen toy and then let people have at it.  Obviously, it was awesome. Singles, couples, trios, kids, adults, dudes and girls all got made into real-life pin-ups.

The installation was part of Clerkenwell Design Week in London. We looked at the creativity of the project and are green with envy that we didn't get a stab at it. Get it? Aha. Ahaha. [No, but seriously, someone make one of these in L.A. please.]

To see a ton more pin-ups, visit Lulu Guinness' Facebook. Aaaaaand for some behind-the-scenes, er, scenes, visit Lulu's blog.

We have had these things on the west coast for years!
Yes, these pin walls are pretty cool and fun to play with, but surely not the creative genius of Lulu Guinness. She probably got the idea while visiting California. We have had these here for years in both Norcal and Socal, at the Exploratorium in SF and at the Science Center in the OC.

LMAO. First off-opening Gold Fish around kids is like biankreg out crack rocks in a dark alley.Seriously though, it's pretty scary that parents are okay with letting their children take food from some random lady. (Not that you're random, I'm down with you...but you know.)Glad your kiddos had a good time and you survived the mob of hungry kids.
