When the Betsey Johnson label promised that the venerable designer would entertain during her first Los Angeles area appearance in five years, they weren’t kidding.

At the Nov. 5 event at her Santa Monica Place boutique, Betsey jumped up on stage when rock band The Mulhollands performed. She also noodled around on their keyboards. Sorry folks, the crowd was not treated to Betsey Johnson singing…

I saw them yeetsrday in Gent (Belgium). Breathtaking concert, great live experience. They take you along in a journey of beauty, melancholy and bitter-sweetness not to be forgotten.
