Dodger Dogs Now At The Grove

Rick Caruso

If running The Grove and The Americana at Brand malls wasn’t enough, developer Rick Caruso is making a serious bid for the Dodgers baseball team, said a Los Angeles Times article.

Caruso is joining forces with former Dodger manager Joe Torre for a bid on the once glorious team, which has not won a World Series since 1988. The Times article quotes a source familiar with Caruso's game plan that the developer will not build a mall around Dodger Stadium. Hmm. But does that mean Dodger dogs will be sold at The Grove and The Americana?

Other notables bidding on the Dodgers are business titans Mark Cuban and Ron Burkle, as well as sports legends Magic Johnson and Orel Hershiser.
