Fashion Intersects With Interior Design on La Cienega

As seen in the showrooms and homes of fashion designers, many of those blessed with the gift of discerning the difference between run-of-the-mill cotton and Supima long staple yarns while blindfolded can also argue the finer points of Danish versus American mid-century modern interiors.

This weekend, some fashion designers will lend their palates alongside interior designers during the "Legends of La Cienega: Celebrate Hollywood" two-day event hosted by the shops in the La Cienega Design Quarter in West Hollywood.

Some highlights include Trina Turk, who will discuss 1960s design at Todd Hase Furniture; Scott Sternberg of Band of Outsiders, who will be part of the panel hosted by Details magazine at Jean de Merry about “gender bending branding”; and Cameron Silver of Decades and designer Catherine Malandrino, who will talk vintage at Lee Stanton Antiques.

Visit the Legends of La Cienega website for the full event schedule and RSVP information.
