Mary Helen Muldoon is a Canadian-born, New York-based handbag designer at Juicy Couture. She is a long-time friend of Texworld USA with experience in both apparel and accessories design. Mary Helen took some time out of her busy holiday schedule to sit down with us and tell us a bit about her design roots and personal style.

What inspired you to become a handbag designer?

From Paris to New York with the Art Directors of Texworld Paris

Some of you already know Louis Gérin and Grégory Lamaud a.k.a. Les Garçons. These two designers from the Paris fashion scene are quickly becoming notorious for shaking up the old ways at Texworld Paris with their progressive art direction. They also have their own line of men’s intimates… Ooh la la!

What’s your favorite thing to do in Paris?

Leah likes leather, but is obsessed with chiffon.

Leah Kraehling has been a friend of Texworld USA for several years, having first attended while working as a design assistant at Badgley Mischka. A talented illustrator, she has been commissioned to do sketches for both Texworld USA and the International Apparel Sourcing Show.
