Overheard in the aisles, Agenda is like the new ASR. The newest edition at the Long Beach Convention Center on January 5-6 showed the breadth of categories that were merchandised roughly by skate, streetwear and surf brands in the cavernous cement floored space.

NEW YORK—Street and skate show Agenda had it's third season in New York on July 18-19 and returned to the Chelsea Art Museum in New York's Chelsea neighborhood.
For the Spring/Summer 2012 season, Agenda:NYC once again stayed to it's core of streetwear, sneaker and action sports lifestyle brands.

Since Action Sports Retailer Trade Expo called it quits last year, the race to pick up ASR’s position as the dominant activewear market has been gaining steam.
The Agenda Trade Show has lead the pack as the go-to-trade event for skate, surf, snow and fashion on the West Coast. At its upcoming run in August 3-4 in Huntington Beach, it expects more than 5,000 buyers.

What will the kids be rockin' this Fall? If the Agenda trade show is any indication, we’ll be seeing an eclectic mix of ethnic inspiration, '70s music festival attire, a touch of vintage and plenty of floral and leopard prints. These were some of the key trends I spotted at the show which took place on Jan. 6 and 7 in Anaheim, Calif.

Agenda drew a crowd of street/surf/skate brands and buyers to Huntington Beach, Calif., January 8-9. Held at the Hyatt Regency on Pacific Coast Highway, the show also benefitted from rad waves right across the street. (I say that not from any personal experience - the only time I've ever "surfed" I kicked some coral and sent my board flying into a stranger's cranium. I'm only reporting what I heard.)
