BOXeight Fashion concluded its three-day run of live photo shoots on Sunday night. On the schedule was Gabby Applegate, photographed by Sam Hessamian; Kanvis, photographed by Robert Sigler; Post’age, photographed by Ben Cope; Future Heretics, photographed by Peter Gurnz; and a last minute change on the schedule: Orthodox was replaced by Zak, photographed by Catherine Asanov.

L.A. Fashion Week continues to evolve and change. This season there are a variety of parties, independent designer presentations and a few organized fashion weeks. Downtown will be a busy place as designers gear up for Fashion Week and Market.

Gitte Meldgaard shooting Skingraft
BOXeight's collaboration with Flaunt magazine and L.A. Models continued on Oct. 24 with photo shoots featuring Skingraft shot by Gitte Meldgaard, Orthodox shot by Lionel Deluy, Secta Shot by Peter Gurnz and Jeffrey Sebelia shot by Kurt Iswarienko (and Shannen Doherty).
The final photos will appear in a special book published by Flaunt and BOXeight.

The organizers behind the indie BOXEight Fashion Week have launched an online video series featuring both up-and-coming and well-known musicians and bands at the soapBOX Live.
“We wanted to use our online presence to provide an intimate venue for new and established artists,” said BOXEight Operations Director Chad Wilson. “The soapBOX is for the artists that need a direction to get their music out.”
