The 40-something woman behind the self-named line knows what it's like to be more than a size zero since she's a little curvy herself. Since launching her label two years ago, her creations showed last year at Full Figured Fashion Week Los Angeles and this year at Full Figured Fashion Week in New York.

Pucca is a spunky, pigtailed girl who stands for both love and power and is the niece of three Chinese noodle-house owners, in case you didn’t know. She spreads hugs and kisses much to the chagrin of her male counterpart and love, Garu the ninja.

Plus-size women’s retailer Lane Bryant has launched an online community called Inside Curve.
