Discover the Inspiration Behind the Designers

Just in time for Los Angeles Fashion Week and everything that goes with it.

Fashion Group International is having its annual celebration called "Meet the Designer and the Muse."

It recognizes some of L.A.'s best designers and the forces that inspire them. Some of the designers being recognized include Sue Wong, Henry Duarte, Louise Verdad, Eduardo Lucero and Nony Tochterman.

Show and Sell: Fashion Week in Downtown

 

L.A. Fashion Week continues to evolve and change. This season there are a variety of parties, independent designer presentations and a few organized fashion weeks. Downtown will be a busy place as designers gear up for Fashion Week and Market.

Sake, Sushi and Style at FGI-LA's Holiday Party

 

Fashion Group International will kick off the holiday season on Dec. 6 with a party—complete with saki tastings, sushi samplings, a silent auction and drawing for a week in St. Lucia.

The party is set for 3–6 p.m. at Agura in West Hollywood. Cost to attend is $30 for FGI members and their guests, and $45 for non-members.

Good Holiday Party - Will Be Back!
I came with a bunch of friends after seeing this and really liked Agura...and the shopping! i'll def be coming back for tyku (sp.)? sake and partying. Keep the posts coming Alison!!
