Banana Republic is getting a dose of Palm Springs style thanks to Los Angeles designer Trina Turk, who will launch a limited-edition capsule collection at the Gap-owned retail chain beginning in June.
The Banana Republic Trina Turk Collection of summer essentials will be sold at Banana Republic stores in the United States, Canada, the U.K., Italy, France, Japan, Turkey, and Korea as well as online in 24 countries through the company’s international e-commerce sites.

Imagine seeing all these paper hangers, on repeat, at The Gap at The Grove.
In the last minute Christmas shopping rush at The Grove, I noticed that The Gap had these cool cardboard hangers made by Ditto throughout the whole store. The rest are made in Asia.

It’s going to be a cute, cute Christmas—if The Gap has anything to do about it.
This holiday ad is currently airing—and (to me, at least) it has all the makings of a viral success: adorable moppets—in clothing I covet for my imaginary Swedish vacation—singing a catchy jingle that has taken root in my brain.
I sent it around the office today—which drove at least one reporter away complaining of sugar shock.
