Mayor Villaraigosa Goes Green at L.A. Fashion Week

Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa received the 2010 Humanitarian Award from the Green Youth Movement at the Green Initiative Humanitarian Fashion Show at L.A. Fashion Weekend. The eco-themed show, organized by The Gallery Los Angeles showroom in downtown Los Angeles, featured eco-friendly collections Emily Factor, Lizzie Parker and Puridee.

San Francisco people know how to think and are not as much into srecufipial things as the, people from LA and OC. People from LA OC look nice and smell nice, but don't know how to think. Come to NYC and enjoy the madness here.

L.A. Fashion Week Going Green

Eco-fashion shows are nothing new on the Los Angeles runways. Think leaf-strewn catwalks and organic cotton.

But  for the first time, a Los Angeles ecological youth movement is presenting a fashion show highlighting eco-friendly designers.
