The sun may be shining bright in California right now, but Fall/Winter 2010 was on the minds of Golden State designers who unveiled their latest creations at New York Fashion Week, with some shows starting as early as Feb. 10.

Los Angeles–based designer Koi Suwannagate, known for her hand-sculpted cashmere pieces and intricate detailing, has launched an online retail shop at her Web site.

The online shop was created as an outlet for the designer, according to Director of Operations Caitlin Wiman. The shop enables Suwannagate to share rare pieces that she creates specifically for the online store, said Wiman.
