From Hollywood to Downtown, LA Fashion Week has been showcasing the city’s best emerging and known designers, with creations ranging from Romantic to punk rock.
The eco-friendly fashion line Nuvula showed at ACE Gallery, channeling artists Gustav Klimt and Toulouse Lautrec and the brand’s twist on La Belle Epoque and Bauhaus, complete with a live performance of “Roxanne.”

“Project Runway” final—four—ist Mondo Guerra was one of a surprising number of reality show designers showing at L.A. Fashion Week this season.
Guerra showed a small collection at the Millinery Guild of Southern California’s presentation on Oct. 15 at The Biltmore hotel in downtown Los Angeles.

A fashionable fête at the Palihouse Holloway Hotel celebrated L.A. Fashion Week New York style. The cocktail party was hosted by designers of leading contemporary New York-based brands Helmut Lang, Rag & Bone, Vena Cava, Gryphon, Made in Heaven and Theyskens’ Theory. Designers were at the party mixing and mingling with select press, stylists, buyers, VIPs and an uber-cool crowd.

What Goes Around Comes Around celebrated the launch of its Fall 2010 collection with a party at its store at Space 15 Twenty in Hollywood. The party, which attracted L.A. fashion insiders and Hollywood starlets Olivia Munn, Monet Mazur and Peaches Geldof, also celebrated the one-year anniversary of the What Goes Around Comes Around store.
