Paul Frank's collaboration with Nestle
How cute! Orange County–based Paul Frank Industries announced Nov. 1 that it would collaborate with food company Nestle to put its Julius the Monkey and Worry Bear cartoon characters on Nestle Crunch bars for the holiday season.
The limited edition candies will be sold in Target. We’re also smelling a sweet trend.

One of L.A.’s premier shopping districts—Melrose Ave.—had a definite party atmosphere last night at Fashion’s Night Out Los Angeles.
From Fairfax stretching west towards La Cienega and Melrose Place, shoppers seemed to hit up all the shops—with Fred Segal being one of the must-stop destinations.

What's up, Julius?
The New York Post is reporting that Paul Frank Industries, the Costa Mesa, Calif.–based brand that built its empire on the back of the much-loved Julius the Monkey character, is looking to be acquired. According to the report, Paul Frank has hired New York-based Guggenheim Partners LLC to find potential buyers.
“Our official stance is ‘No comment,’” says co-founder Ryan Heuser.
