The daughters of LL and Magic (pictured above) also walked in the runway show.

Justin Timberlake, founder of the William Rast brand, loves the ladies. Obviously. And he likes fast cars. Just last week William Rast sponsored the winning car at the Indianapolis 500. So what do you get when you combine JT's two loves? Danica Patrick - a hot racecar driver that competed in (but didn't win) the Indy 500. She's the new face of William Rast's eyewear line.

Karl Lagerfeld is doing one for Macy’s. Premium denim line William Rast is doing one for Target. Call them diffusion lines or simply less costly alternatives to fashion with a contemporary or luxe price tag. Consumers seem to support them. Retailers continue to ask for them.

New York Fashion Week overlapped the trade shows in Las Vegas this season, but designers such as William Rast found ways to make the timing conflict work for them. Sales reps and retailers gathered at the William Rast booth at the Project Global Trade Show to view the brand's runway show, which was streamed live from New York.
