There was a big editorial kerfuffle when the British Fashion Council produced the LONDON show ROOMS designer showcase in L.A. in October.

But L.A. designers will return the favor by decamping to London on Valentine Day’s Week and presenting City of the Angels style during London Fashion Week.

Celebrities seems to be a rare sight these days at Los Angeles fashion shows.

But on Sunday, a fundraiser for the Public Counsel Law Center, a pro bono law organization, drew some Tinsel Town star power to L.A. Fashion Weekend at Sunset Gower Studios.

West Coast buyers, stylists and press have had the opportunity to meet some of London’s brightest design talent this week. The British Fashion Council presented a designer showcase titled the LONDON show ROOMS at the ACE Gallery Oct. 17 to 19 in conjunction with Concept Fashion Week.

“LA is a significant market for our designers and we are delighted to be taking this initiative over to the West Coast,” said Caroline Rush, CEO of the BFC in a prepared statement.

From video installations to a garden parties, Concept LA Fashion Week presented designers through a series of installations. There were an assortment of looks on display.

Oh! Slow start today—late night at West Hollywood nightclub Voyeur where Sue Wong debuted her Spring collection for a jam-packed and well-dressed crowd.

The gowns and cocktail dresses, were, as always, gorgeous. The sweets and bubbly were delish. And the guests mixed, mingled--and danced (oh, yes, I saw you) the night away.

T magazine’s website has a weirdly addictive before-and-after feature of models at recent fashion weeks in Paris and Milan.

Dubbed “Model-Morphosis” the feature has a little slidebar that lets you glide from fresh-faced to full-on war paint.
