The swim world is preparing for its annual trek to Miami Beach, and this July there will be a landmark occasion to celebrate. SwimShow, the swimwear industry’s longest running trade show, turns 30 this year. The Swimwear Association of Florida (SAF) will fête this milestone anniversary at its annual event July 21 to 24 at the Miami Beach Convention Center.

Los Angeles–based menswear line Madisonpark Collective answered that question with a resounding “Yes!” at its March 14 runway show at Style Fashion Week La at Vibiana in downtown Los Angeles.

The runway show featured several segments with dancers performing in Madisonpark.

Designer Trey Alligood was kind enough to send a video of the show, created by Aaron Mendez of Ahwahnee Films.

Tonight is the last night of Los Angeles Fashion Week with the finale show at L.A. Fashion Weekend at Sunset Gower. When our photographer Volker Corell was not busy shooting the shows from the photographers’ pit, he was filming the scenes.

From Hollywood to Downtown, LA Fashion Week has been showcasing the city’s best emerging and known designers, with creations ranging from Romantic to punk rock.

The eco-friendly fashion line Nuvula showed at ACE Gallery, channeling artists Gustav Klimt and Toulouse Lautrec and the brand’s twist on La Belle Epoque and Bauhaus, complete with a live performance of “Roxanne.”

That is the LONDON show ROOMS have arrived in Los Angeles for LA Market and Fashion Week. The British Fashion Council kicked off the three day brand showcase with Hollywood panache at its opening night cocktail party last night at Smashbox Studios.

We were at the Stop Staring! and Ina Soltani shows at Style Fashion Week LA last night—at the beautiful Vibiana in downtown Los Angeles.

Cocktails, chocolate and some chatter, there was no better way to kick off Los Angeles Fashion Week.

There was a big editorial kerfuffle when the British Fashion Council produced the LONDON show ROOMS designer showcase in L.A. in October.

But L.A. designers will return the favor by decamping to London on Valentine Day’s Week and presenting City of the Angels style during London Fashion Week.

Celebrities seems to be a rare sight these days at Los Angeles fashion shows.

But on Sunday, a fundraiser for the Public Counsel Law Center, a pro bono law organization, drew some Tinsel Town star power to L.A. Fashion Weekend at Sunset Gower Studios.
