Watch your back MTV! Leading streetwear e-commerce site Karmaloop unveiled the new, souped up version of its entertainment site KarmaloopTV.com on April 18.
The Boston-based Karmaloop will produce its own content chronicling the music, fashion, politics and crazy times of its consumer base; the “verge culture,” or the first generation of kids to grow up with the Internet.

From Hollywood to Downtown, LA Fashion Week has been showcasing the city’s best emerging and known designers, with creations ranging from Romantic to punk rock.
The eco-friendly fashion line Nuvula showed at ACE Gallery, channeling artists Gustav Klimt and Toulouse Lautrec and the brand’s twist on La Belle Epoque and Bauhaus, complete with a live performance of “Roxanne.”

Drum roll please....
The first batch of designers headed for the new "Designers in Residence" program housed inside the Macy's at Union Square have been named.
The six designers, who all live in San Francisco but come from spots around the world, will be the first lucky ones to take part in the just-launched Fashion Incubator San Francisco, which has an incredible program.

Five of the 13 designers returning to compete in “Project Runway All Stars” in January are from California.
I’d prefer 13 of 13, sure, but it’s a better West Coast showing than we’ve seen in recent seasons of the reality show, youknowwhatI’msaying?
The California competitors are:
Rami Kashou, Mila Hermanovski, Sweet P Vaughn, Michael Costello and Gordana Gehlhausen.

With LL Cool J serving as celebrity host and Magic Johnson dropping by, you knew it was going to be a cool scene You know, just another day at the mall in L.A--in this case, the swank, open-air Century City shopping center in West L.A. The daughters of LL and Magic (pictured above) also walked in the runway show.

Justin Timberlake, founder of the William Rast brand, loves the ladies. Obviously. And he likes fast cars. Just last week William Rast sponsored the winning car at the Indianapolis 500. So what do you get when you combine JT's two loves? Danica Patrick - a hot racecar driver that competed in (but didn't win) the Indy 500. She's the new face of William Rast's eyewear line.
