Mobile fashion company Poshmark is hosting its first live Posh Party next Thursday, at The Crescent Hotel in Beverly Hills. The shopping event is open to the public and will feature “a young, hip mix of LA's most fashionable folks, bloggers and designers,” said Joanna Riedl, a spokesperson for Poshmark.

Last night there was a holiday shopping party at West Hollywood’s retail district The Avenues. Tonight, Dec. 8, another prominent shopping district, Los Angeles’ West Third Street, will be producing its Annual Neighborhood Holiday Party.

The Two Point Oh! LA Pre LAFW Party is back. Now in its fourth season, it's time to network and kick off Los Angeles Fashion Week in real style with an open bar, prizes, giveaways and a lot of other good stuff!

Puma Social Club, Puma' pop-up shop at the Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood, is closing tonight with a big bang. Puma and Hit + Run, purveyors of cool custom screen-printed T-shirts, are pairing up for a closing party. Should be rad. Be sure to grab a T-shirt.

The 722 Figueroa Showroom took a novel approach to Fashion Week - which is to say it opted out of the runway scenario in favor of hosting stylists and editors during the day and hipsters and retailers for a party at night. Held Oct. 14 at the downtown showroom (which sits on the very edge of Echo Park), the event was fun and cool and so L.A. - everything Fashion Week should be.

We’re helping Brazilian shoe brand Carmen Steffens kick off the Fall/Winter season with a party on Aug. 12 at the company’s U.S. flagship store at Westfield Fashion Square in Sherman Oaks, Calif.

Events are planned throughout the day—and online—with plenty of goodies for Carmen Steffens’ fans.

Mark your calendars - May 28, Space15Twenty, 7-10 p.m., urban beach bash. Gonz! is back and ready to party.  And, since founder Rick Klotz said the collection is inspired by an "all-encompassing party vibe," we're guessing that means good times and a great way to kick off your weekend.

What Goes Around Comes Around celebrated the launch of its Fall 2010 collection with a party at its store at Space 15 Twenty in Hollywood. The party, which attracted L.A. fashion insiders and Hollywood starlets Olivia Munn, Monet Mazur and Peaches Geldof, also celebrated the one-year anniversary of the What Goes Around Comes Around store.

I’m still kicking myself that I missed the annual Christmas party thrown Dec. 18 by the Textile Association of Los Angeles. (In 11 years at Apparel News, this is only the second time I’ve missed the event).
