Style Meets Innovation
Eye-popping colors, supernatural themes and floaty, feminine layers were just some of the trends that turned up on the runway in Sydney.
Australians have a decidedly unique flair for style. And the runways at Rosemount Australian Fashion Week showcased the freshest looks for Spring/Summer 2010/11.
From casual to chic sophistication, designers focused on melding innovation with wearability. Many created vibrant digital prints, and others applied intricate hand-macramé and futuristic neoprene padding to garments.

in soft pastel shades, clean whites and nude-and-black combinations. Tailoring was key, and many designers juxtaposed structured blazers with loosely draped trousers. Others utilized lace, draping, ruffles and sheer fabrications to add a feminine edge.
