If the L.A. runways were any indication, Spring will be a light-hearted affair. From colorful prints to sweet, feminine dresses and ethnic-inspired ensembles, there were plenty of options on the runway.
Casual chic is what Los Angeles does best, and this season, designers spanned the gamut. Many designers showed swimwear, menswear-inspired jackets, maxi dresses and shorts in all shapes and sizes.
The update this season is in prints-everything from polka dots to florals, tropical motifs and ethnic designs ruled the runway. Ruffles and Peter Pan collars were breakout details along
with a multitude of hats à la Kate Middleton.
L.A. has its dark side, too. Not to be forgotten were leather jackets, fur, skinny jeans and bondage-style dresses. Here are some key looks of the season.
