Feizollah Neman Dies at 80

Feizollah Neman, chairman and consultant of Los Angeles-based textile trading company Neman Brothers and Associates, passed away on Dec. 26 due to complications from a stroke he suffered two years ago, his family said. He was 80 years old.

Neman, who founded a textile firm with his brothers in his native Iran, moved to Los Angeles in 1981, where he helped his sons Yoel, John and Leon found Neman Brothers the following year.

A funeral service was planned for Dec. 28 at Mount Sinai Memorial Park in Los Angeles. A memorial service will be held on Jan. 2 at 6 p.m. at the Iranian American Jewish Center in West Hollywood, Calif.

Neman is survived by his wife of more than 50 years, Bahyeh; sons Yoel, John and Leon; daughters Angela Larian and Mahnaz Cohanzad and 18 grandchildren.
