Vernon-based One Clothing is opening a showroom in the California Mart, suite B821. The 1,333-square-foot space will house the company’s junior, tween and girls’ lines; at press time the company announced plans to hold an open house at the new showroom on July 23 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; the open house will be hosted by Laura Wilson, vice president of sales and merchandising, and Leanne Moede, national sales manager for the girls’ line; for more information, call Moede at (323) 846-5700...San Francisco-based Levi Strauss & Co. will shutter its Slates by Janet Howard women’s label following shipment of the Holiday 2001 line; the company will continue to produce its Slates men’s line; Howard will remain with the company as creative director for Levi’s Dockers women’s brand.
