The Herald Examiner Building Will Become Creative Office Space

The Herald Examiner building will become creative office space thanks to a deal between the Hearst Corp.’s real estate division and Urban Partners LLC. The Spanish revival building in downtown Los Angeles has been used as a film set since the Herald Examiner shuttered operations in 1989. The 90-year-old building, designed by San Simeon designer Julia Morgan, is expected to be renovated and ready to lease by 2003.
