AAFA Members to Advise White House

The White House has selected two members of the American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA) to join the U.S. government’s Advisory Committee for Trade Policy and Negotiations (ACTPN). Ed Emma, president and chief executive officer of Jockey International, and Walter Bernand “Duffy” Hickey Jr., chairman of the Hickey Freeman Company, a division of Hartmarx Corp., and president of the Tailored Clothing Association will join the committee, which was formed to advise the government on the structure and implementation of trade policies and their effect on business.
