Montreal-based AGE Technologies (www.agetechnologies.com), which markets Clicdesign, an apparel design software tool, has released the latest version of its fabric design module, PlaidMaker.

The new PlaidMaker 2.0 and PlaidMaker Pro 2.0 have been improved for simpler adjustments and modifications, allowing for easier color swapping, weave construction features and file storage. The programs treat each yarn sequence as an object, thus simplifying adjustments, said the company. Other features include independent setting controls, interface with Adobe Photoshop’s RGB and CMYK modes, and onscreen or manual yarn sequencing.
