Frederick's Plus Bows Online
Lingerie maverick Frederick’s of Hollywood has begun selling its plus-size wares on the Web site PlusSize.com. In addition to purchasing items there, shoppers can create a virtual online model on the site to “try on” more than 15 different styles, using the My Virtual Model technology. Some selections featured include silk pajamas, bias-cut gowns, deep V-neck gowns and corsets.
The site, geared to women size 12 and up, offers shopping-portal access to the Web sites of more than 40 designers and retailers, including Gap, J. Jill, Lands’ End and Nordstrom. —Nola Sarkisian-Miller
