The former downtown headquarters of Los Angeles’ trolley line is slated to become an upscale apartment building if a $20 million renovation project is approved. ICO Investment Group has proposed turning the Pacific Electric Building on 6th and Main streets into a housing complex with 314 units, a doorman and 24-hour security, ample parking and a rooftop terrace. The 500,000-square-foot building was constructed in 1905.
