Barbara Fields Buying Office to Host KAMA Trend Seminar

Barbara Fields Buying Office and Cherish International will present a Spring/Summer ’03 trend forecast for members of the Korean American Manufacturers Association (KAMA) on Oct. 30 at 6:30 p.m. at the Garden Suite Hotel, located at 681 Western Ave. in Los Angeles.

The seminar will provide local manufacturers with a head start on next season’s planning, said Victor Kim, president of Cherish International.

“Manufacturers will get a good sense of which styles retailers will be looking for,” he said.

The seminar will focus on key styles and colors for Spring and Summer, the Asian (geisha and dim sum) impact on fabric and styles, the entertainment industry’s influence on fashion, and hot new trends in denim, knit and woven items. Admission is free for KAMA members and $20 for non-members. For more information, call (213) 746- 5362. —Claudia Figueroa
