Hollywood Moment
Film costume and fashion was the topic at “Hollywood & Fashion: Influences Past & Present,” a seminar hosted by the Fashion Group International and held March 31 on the campus of the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising. The event included a panel discussion with costume designers and a tour of FIDM’s Museum & Galleries and its current exhibit, “The Art of Motion Picture Costume Design.” The exhibit featured costumes from all of the films nominated this year for an Academy Award for best costume design, as well as other recent film costumes. –Robert McAllister
