Saks Scouting for L.A. Design
Buyers from Saks Fifth Avenue’s New York office will be in Los Angeles on Aug. 20 scouting for new women’s apparel and accessory lines at the retailer’s open “See Day.”
The appointment-only event will be held at the Saks men’s store in Beverly Hills.
To be considered, a designer or manufacturer must be able to produce and ship on time, and must “have knowledge of the Saks customer and be able to meet the potential demands of becoming a new vendor at Saks,” said Elizabeth Kanfer, market editor for Saks.
