MAGIC's Fall Fusion
There was a Tyrolean theme on the runway at MAGIC as labels such as Blue Plate, French Concept and Fifi Jeans embellished sweaters, jackets, vests and skirts with sweet floral embroidery and crewelwork. Sweats also got a feminine makeover with girlie silhouettes, ruffled mini skirts and puffed sleeves from labels such as Pucelle and Faramon. But it wasn’t all feminine sweetness. The military influence was evident in olive and khaki cargo pants, mini skirts and cropped bomber jackets from Jessie USA, Marithe + Francois Girbaud, Boom Boom and Dickies. And then there were the bondage details. Zippers, straps and D-rings adorned skinny jeans, relaxed cargo pants and even a pink layered dress from Hot Kiss.
