Quiksilver on Expansion Track

Huntington Beach, Calif.-based Quiksilver Inc. is expanding its West Coast headquarters. The surfwear resource is adding 200,000 square feet of industrial space to its Orange County operations for a total of 700,000 square feet.

The latest leases are valued at $5.8 million, according to brokers in the deal. Quiksilver occupies space in Sares-Regis Group’s West County Commerce Center, located off Argosy and McFadden Avenues, near the hub of Southern California’s action-sports mecca.

Quiksilver relocated its headquarters here in 1997 and has been gradually expanding as additional space becomes available at the 1-million-square-foot industrial park. The first of the two recent lease agreements was for 101,618 square feet of industrial space, with occupancy slated for this month. The second lease also was for 101,618 square feet.
