Mickey and J. Crew

Former Gap chief executive officer Millard S. “Mickey” Drexler has been named chairman and chief executive of New York-based J. Crew Group Inc. Drexler is replacing current chairman Emily Woods, who will remain a member of the board of directors, and current CEO Ken Pilot, who will resign. J. Crew also hired former Gap executive Jeff Pfeifle, who served as vice president of product and design for the company’s Old Navy division. Pfeifle has been named president of J. Crew.
