California's Share
Apparel employment is down in California and nationwide. But the Los Angeles County Economic Development Corp. (LAEDC) has found a bright side to the bad news. Manufacturing in Southern California has steadily increased its share of the U.S. market between 1997 and 2002, according to a recent LAEDC survey.
