Paul Frank Joins Bloomie's for Surfrider Benefit

Designer Paul Frank will kick off a promotion benefiting the Surfrider Foundation March 15 at the Bloomingdale’s men’s store in the Beverly Center in Los Angeles. The retailer and Maxim magazine are staging the promotion to benefit the nonprofit organization, which promotes conservation of the world’s oceans and beaches.

During the promotion, customers who make a minimum purchase of $125 in the men’s store at one of three Bloomingdale’s locations will be given a pair of tickets to an April 10 concert benefiting the Surfrider Foundation. Participating Bloomingdale’s include the Beverly Center, Century City and Sherman Oaks stores. The promotion will run until March 25.

The concert, called “Next Wave,” will feature Lit, Unwritten Law and Gavin DeGraw and will be held at the Key Cub in West Hollywood, Calif.

Actress Brooke Burns, host of NBC’s reality show “Dog Eat Dog,” will also be on hand to promote the event.

Frank will be making an appearance from noon to 2 p.m., and Burns will be in the store from 2 to 4 p.m.
