Burlington Seeks Bids
Greensboro, N.C.-based Burlington Industries announced it is soliciting proposals to sell the company, which has been in Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection since November 2001. The textile company has operations in the United States, Mexico and India, as well as a product-development network based in Hong Kong. Burlington officials said the company plans to emerge from Chapter 11 by summer.
