Lectra Sets New York Technology Event

Sourcing, design and marketing will be some of the subjects covered June 9–12 during the Lectra Apparel Technology Conference in New York.

Mary O’Rourke, managing director of Jassin- O’Rourke Group, will discuss trade issues and sourcing migration trends in “Sourcing by Design.” W. John Short, chief executive officer of The Leslie Fay Co., will give a case-study presentation on how the company has incorporated technology to re-energize its business. Joe Castaldo and Frank Altese of The Style Council will discuss how the design and service studio is using technology to expand its business model. Pam Danzinger of Unity Marketing will talk about marketing to consumers.

The meetings will be held at Lectra’s New York showroom and over the Internet. Last year, more than 100 companies from 22 states and Canada attended the conference live and online.
