H. Lorenzo Adds Sportswear Store
Lorenzo Hadar continues to expand his miniature retail empire and after 20 years has finally ventured beyond Sunset Plaza in West Hollywood, Calif.
In early October, Hadar opened H. Sport at 9601 Wilshire Blvd. in Beverly Hills, Calif. The 750-square-foot store already has a built-in clientele; it’s located inside Sports Club LA.
“I always wanted to do something more sporty, but not like everybody else,” said Hadar. “More fashion-forward.”
The store carries lines such as James Perse, Adidas’ heritage and fashion-driven shoes and apparel, and local forward designers such as Bella Dahl.
The lines as well as the display make the store “different from any sports shop you’ve ever seen,” said Hadar.
Hadar already operates H. Lorenzo, H. Men and H. Shoes, all at Sunset Plaza. —Christian M. Chensvold
