Agenda Show May Come to CMC

The California Market Center might have an Agenda during the Oct. 31 to Nov. 2 run of Los Angeles Market Week.

CMC executives are in talks with the 6-yearold, Los Angeles-based art, music and fashion show to hold the event in the building.

The November market is one of the two largest markets at the CMC—and that is a big draw for Agenda’s organizers.

“[The CMC] has been working really hard at trying to bring people to Los Angeles,” said Agenda organizer Luis Pulido.

The show has run twice as a satellite to the Action Sports Retailer Trade Expo. Earlier this month in San Diego Agenda featured 70 vendors, including Live Mechanics, Minor Industries, Outdoor Terrier, Syndrome and Teenage Millionaire.

Plans call for about 30 lines to exhibit at Agenda in November. There will also be various musical offerings and a showcase of artists who provide graphics for the apparel industry. —Christian M. Chensvold
