Ares Buys Maidenform
Ares Corporate Opportunities Fund LP, the private equity division of Los Angeles–based Ares Management LLC, announced plans to purchase Maidenform Inc., subject to closing conditions. The lingerie giant will continue to be a privately held company and will retain its management after the purchase is finalized. Maidenform brands include Maidenform, Lilyette and Flexees.
