B.U.M. Equipment Shoes
B.U.M. Equipment has signed a licensing deal with the Brown Shoe Co. for a line of Bum Equipment men’s, women’s and children’s shoes. The B.U.M. brand, founded in Seattle and later based in Los Angeles, is now owned by investors on the East Coast. B.U.M.’s current strategy is to pursue “category dominating licensees.” The company has already signed an agreement for watches and expects to strike deals for B.U.M. childrenswear, cold-weather accessories and handbags.
