Saltzman to Guru
Mark S. Saltzman, former chief operating officer of Joie Jeans, is now the chief operating officer of Guru Denim Inc., a subsidiary of Los Angeles–based True Religion Apparel Inc., which distributes True Religion jeans. Saltzman will take over for Charles Lesser, who held the positions of both chief operating officer and chief financial officer. Lesser will maintain his position as chief financial officer. Saltzman, who sits on True Religion’s board, has a long history with denim companies, having worked for Joie, AG Jeans and Lucky Brand as well as Joe Boxer, Ocean Pacific Apparel Corp. and L.A. Gear Inc.
